Armenian "Sivas" rug
Circa 1910's Armenian pile rug from Central Anatolian province "Sivas"
100% hand spun wool on wool, the wool used on this rug has extreme quality. it is so soft because it is probably sheared from the neck parts of the youngest sheeps and that is why it is shining like a silk rug since the border colors of this rug is very similar to golden color, that shinny wools looks even more beautiful.
condition of the rug is very good and considering it's age. There is no any hole or cut on the rug.
